Pep de Martí, an IndeeLitf user, shares his experience with us

Hello everyone! I’m Pep de Martí, 21 years old and a member of ASEM Catalunya. I would like to share my experience with IndeeLift, a device I discovered at the Ortomedical Care Exhibition in Madrid and that, frankly, has changed my day-to-day life.

"As a person with muscular dystrophy, I have always faced challenges getting up on my own from low places such as the floor, chairs, or toilets. This has led me to rely heavily on help from others, especially my family. Also, with my height of 192 cm and my weight of 85 kg, it often takes two people to lift me, which has a very negative impact on my independence. However, bringing IndeeLift into the home made a real difference. This device has given me back my independence, since I can use it without assistance, which greatly reduces my dependence on others for everyday tasks. Whether it’s going to the bathroom, getting up from the couch after a movie, or even playing on the floor with my dog, I can now do all of this by myself."

IndeeLift, an essential aid for accidental falls 

IndeeLift has also become indispensable in the event of accidental falls. Because of my condition, I am more prone to falling, and getting back up has always been a real challenge. Before having IndeeLift, I always needed help from others to recover from these falls, which sometimes resulted in back injuries for the people helping me. But with IndeeLift, getting up after a fall is much easier. I simply lower the platform, position myself on it, press a button, and rise effortlessly. In this way, IndeeLift not only helps me, but also prevents possible injuries to the people who assist me.

In addition, IndeeLift has become a reliable companion at work. As an intern, I always keep it close by, which allows me to stand up whenever necessary and use the restroom independently.

Ultimately, IndeeLift has transformed my everyday life. It has always been difficult for me to get up from low surfaces, and I have depended on help from others because of my muscular dystrophy. But since discovering IndeeLift, I have been able to regain my independence.

IndeeLift has given me a new level of comfort and freedom, and it has had a positive impact on both my personal and professional life."
